Dara Kiani successfully defended his thesis titled "Proteus mirabilis utilizes a contact dependent growth inhibition system to kill competitor species" on June 1, 2023. The lab threw yet another party with fantastic food, friends, and family to commemorate this big accomplishment. Dara seemed to be in a good mood after putting on his PhD hat.
